I have recently moved my email to google mail and for a whole month and a half I wasn't receiving any enquiries from my website. I am devastated about this, if anyone had sent an enquiry from October 4th to November 10th 2013 I will not have received it.

Please enquire again if I have failed to respond to you.

Thank you

Sir Alex Ferguson’s Golf Classic Charity Day at The Belfry

Ben Shephard TweetIn July 2012 The Toni James 10 piece band performed for Sir Alex Ferguson Golf Classic Day at The Belfry in Birmingham. The evening had a charity auction which was a huge success raising lots of money for a great cause. The night was packed with footballers, celebrities and obviously the man himself 'Sir Alex Ferguson'.

The band had everyone up dancing, including Ben Shephard and Soccer AM's Helen Chamberlain. Ben especially loved my drummer Nigel Williams and was screaming 'Nigel, Nigel' during Nigel's drum solo on The Killers 'Mr Brightside'. Ben then tweeted about us a couple of days later.

Dear Toni

Following the last 2 week’s Golf Days at the Belfry Hotel (the Sir Alex Ferguson’s Golf Classic and the Co-operative Golf Classic) we want to extend our thanks and appreciation to you and the band for your part in two successful events.  The feedback we have had so far has been extremely positive, and from our point of view both events ran very smoothly.  We not only gave the customers a great experience we managed between us to help towards the raising a good deal for two worthy charities.

We were extremely impressed with you and the band – you created a great atmosphere and what a packed dance floor at the Sir Alex do!!!

Thank you for working with us on the two events; it was a great pleasure to work with you and we look forward to doing so again in the future.

Best wishes,

Jason Ferguson

Whitby Spa Halloween Charity Ball

IMG_0608In October 2010 The Toni James 10 piece band performed at a Charity Halloween Ball for St.Catherine's Hospice at Whitby Spa.
The band included the amazing 4 piece "dancing horn" section. On percussion- Lea Mullin who plays such legends as George Michael & Kate Bush. On trumpet-Steve Parry who wrote the score for Calendar Girls at the West End and has played with John Legend and Corrine Bailey Rae.. The list goes on with these guys... check out my musicians page on www.tonijames.co.uk for more information. The 10 of us dressed up for the event, the boys were all vampires and I was a witch!
Penny, who booked us for the event sent me this;

Hi Toni,

What a great night we all had on Saturday. Please thank all of your band members. Their music was much appreciated and there were many sore feet on Sunday which is always the sign of a good night.

£6,500 was the profit on the night. WOO WOO.

I do hope that your food and refreshments were ok and that you all got home safely.

Best regards,
